SCOOTER TRAINING SESSION

Lining up at the start.

Ashton hard at work during the theory session.

Helmets on and ready to start our practical session.

Today we had a training session on how to safely ride our scooters.  We first had a 45 minute theory session and then a 45 minute practical session.  Marcia and Mason who are Room 2's two Travelwise leaders had to take a leading role. They designed an obstacle course with pedestrian crossings and sneaky driveways, drew it on the board and explained what we had to do.  Before we started our practical session they had to demonstrate what to do.  Those of us who did not have scooters were able to share with a buddy.  Well done Marcia and Mason and all of us are now expert scooter riders in Room 2!
